During the summer of 2021, I got pulled onto a pretty awesome project for the summer. A buddy of mine wanted to do a summer swell edit of 4 different generations of surfers from Ocean City. I was ecstatic to be brought on as the main photographer and videographer. I got to work with some really awesome and well known surfers in the area as well as many talented photographers. That summer Stephen and I chased the swell and worked our asses off to get the film finished by August. Both him and I, (but mostly him), were working tirelessly to coordinate like 8 different peoples schedules in order to get the footage that we needed. I don't think all 10(ish) of us who were apart of this project were ever the same spot at once, LOL. I remember Stephen was trying to finalize the edit and needed my help so I sped up onto the boardwalk to meet him at the shop but we ended up just sitting on a random bench across the BW and edited it on his laptop there at like 11pm at night. We did it though. It premiered on August 13th, and thanks to some promotion from 7th Street it had a pretty dope turn out. Stephen did a really great job with it and I'm proud to have been apart of the team and for the opportunity. It was truly one of the best summers.
